| Question | Answer |
| “Why don't you make a bot that automatically re-creates your Discord server whenever it gets deleted, like how scam servers on Discord do?” | The answer to all of these is the same: It's a ridiculous workaround that makes life unnecessarily hard for everyone involved while not actually fixing the underlying problems. |
| “Why don't you require everyone to install a Vencord/BetterDiscord plugin that encrypts all messages so Discord staff won't know that it's a Wurst server?” |
| “Why don't you come up with a secret language that everyone has to use, where hacked clients are gummy bears and Minecraft is a giant lizard and…?” |
| “But what if you set up a Discord/Telegram/etc. in addition to a forum? Surely that solves all the problems!” | No, it doesn't. Having more platforms means more work for moderators. People will repeat questions that were already answered on a different platform because it's harder to find information when it's not in one place and only partially indexed. Spammers typically attack every platform at once, making it harder to ban them quickly. |
| “Why don't you set up a bot that cross-posts every message on every platform?” | Cross-platform chat bots create more work, are buggy, and break often. Bot messages copied from other platforms are difficult to read / search through with all the different formatting rules, media attachments, etc. everywhere and harder to moderate because deletions / bans typically don't sync. |
| “But I don't want to create a new account for your forum and I already have Discord.” | You don't have to create an account. You can browse WurstForum anonymously and you have the option to create an account via “sign in with Discord”. |
