How to Hide the Wurst Logo
The Wurst Client logo, displayed in the corner of the screen while using the Wurst, can be hidden by changing its visibility in the WurstLogo settings. This customization is particularly useful for users seeking a cleaner view or when recording gameplay without revealing the use of Wurst.
The way to find the WurstLogo Visibility setting depends on the GUI being used: either ClickGUI or Navigator.
ClickGUI Method
- Open ClickGUI by pressing Right CTRL or any custom key you have assigned.
- Inside ClickGUI, locate the UI Settings window and open it if necessary.
- Click on the dropdown arrow next to WurstLogo to expand its options.
- Set the visibility to “Only when outdated”.
Navigator Method
- Press Right Shift (or your custom keybind) to open the Navigator GUI.
- Use the search bar to find WurstLogo.
- Similar to the ClickGUI method, select the visibility option “Only when outdated”.
Additional Notes
Setting the logo visibility to “Only when outdated” means that the Wurst logo will only appear if a newer version of Wurst is available for the same Minecraft version. This is necessary to ensure that the user is always aware when a newer version of Wurst is released, which might contain important bugfixes or security updates.
Contrary to popular belief, using an older version of Minecraft doesn't count as “outdated”. The logo only re-appears if it is possible to update Wurst without updating Minecraft.
